Prestigious Design Organization with International Footprint Joins Alliance
HAMBURG, Germany, 2 Nov 2023 – IAMA, the Independent Aircraft Modifier Alliance, is delighted to welcome new Tier 2 member FACC. The company, which serves a range of clients, has offices in 13 locations worldwide and brings decades of experience with an added focus on sustainability. In becoming a member, FACC is adding its voice to the alliance's diverse voices, advocating for high-quality modifications completed using Supplemental Type Certifications (STC).
"We are thrilled to welcome FACC, a prestigious and persuasive industry voice, as our latest alliance member," said Nina Schulz, IAMA's managing director. "IAMA is a diverse group of like-minded organizations with unique experiences and viewpoints, and we are eager to take advantage of FACC's international reach to continue building the alliance’s profile. Understanding the challenges of all stakeholders in the aviation ecosystem helps perfect the IAMA Rulebook and makes us stronger."
FACC and IAMA’s values are well aligned. The company joined the alliance to reinforce its reputation as a provider of the highest-quality, sustainable solutions. A Tier 2 membership gives the company access to the IAMA Rulebook and the ever growing resource library. Like other members, FACC is encouraged to share their expertise to help shape the Rulebook. And their commitment to the IAMA Standard is another way to validate and strengthen processes to continuously improve services provided to their clients.
"FACC is enthusiastic to join IAMA because exchanging ideas with other experts is an excellent opportunity to learn and contribute to the constant refinement of best practices, which will ultimately benefit our clients," said FACC’s Vice President of Aftermarket Christian Mundigler. "We are keen to share our experiences in the alliance's various working groups. In particular, we feel the Certification & Authority Affairs working group’s activities are important to overcoming the misguided prejudices associated with modifications completed by independent modifiers."
